Dear Dr. Fatahi, I am writing this email to inform you that unfortunately I could not find time in my busy school schedule to put into the Touch Typing Application you have asked us to. I know it is of utmost importance to you, but please hear me out. I know no excuses are justified enough to miss the task, but I think you will understand my condition at work and school. Recently, I have been working overtime due to the fact that I have taken some psychology courses in another university and I have to earn enough money to be able to pay my classes fees. I am beyond sorry, and I understand that I have made a huge mistake. To compensate, I am going to have more free time after the exams so for sure I’ll work on my typing skills, and send you the results.
