Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you in relation to the announcement about recruitment of volunteers for part-time work in the History Museum. I would like to ask you to consider my candidacy for subject work and for this purpose I provide brief information why I believe I am suitable for the said position. I am keen to take this work because I am very passionate about the history in general and like being surrounded by historical things, places and people knowledgeable about the history. This is why, I also participate in various evening courses where I learn about and research the historical events. Let me say that even one of these courses was about preservation and treatment of ancient artefacts which I believe would be useful for my work in your museum. Further to my above motivation, being disciplined, diligent and having excellent soft skills are additional features that the museum could benefit from.
