A friend of yours is thinking of going on a camping holiday for the first time this summer. He/she has asked for your advice.

Dear Mandeep, Hopefully you and your family are doing well. My apologies for not being in touch lately, but I am making up for it via this letter; at least I hope so! I understand you are looking forward for camping this summer, sounds a great idea! As you know during pandemic, our lives have been affected extremely. I am so happy we have sailed through the winters and we are ready for some warmth this summer. I am amazed to know that you are planning to go camping this summer. As a software engineer, you spend most of your time in front of the laptop. Camping will be a great change from the usual routine. It is refreshing to be out in the lap of nature and explore the greenery. The bonfire is my favorite part, when you have your loved ones along with good food and music. Moreover, being away from technology, will help you relax. Furthermore, there are few important aspects to be taken care of. In case, you have some insect allergy, that can be a problem. There are a lot of flies, don’t forget to carry an insect repellant spray and balm. You will have to set up a tent, make your own food. There can be rodents out there, they seem creepy to me. Camping has always been a lot of fun for me. It reminds me of the good times with my family. My parents loved camping, and have passed it onto me. If possible, I would love to accompany you for camping holiday. If you plan in advance, I will be able to request for a week’s leave. I hope I am able to help you in your decision.
