Dear John, I cannot explain in words how excited I am to have you in my city. I know for sure that you will have amazing time living in Ahmedabad. Since you are arriving in winter, I would recommend you stay in the old city area of Ahmedabad. Even though it is quite crowded during day time, the night life here is very vibrant. From food to daily consumables, everything is available close-by. Plus the street food here is to die for! As you wouldn’t have access to your car here, I suggest you take help of excellent public transport in Ahmedabad. The buses here are punctual and the routes are wide enough to cover every area of the city. Hence you won’t find any problem to commute to work. Moreover it is a heaven for socially active people.
