A single career is considered for some people as a style of work old fashioned. Therefore, they believe that have many professions and further education should be the new trend of being more successful. However, both views have points positives and negatives, which I will discuss in this essay. In the past, the common key for the success was to have one occupation, where you could be steady until you retire. This model works perfectly for the employees in the 80’ and 90’, for the reason that there was not several professionals. Hence, in this epoch was easier to keep in a workplace, because even many women were not totally in the labour world. Nevertheless, for today, this model does not work, because there is quite uncertainty. On the other hand, in the started on the 2000 the new generations realised that having one employment was not safe for them, due to now there are more professionals and the companies are not promised a workplace for all the life. For this reason, the millennials created a new ideas about to be a successful person in a career, and those are having more ways of earning money and further education. For example, nowadays, is very common to see graduates that must continue learning across of postgraduate, because this could help them to get better opportunities. In conclusion, there is a new model of work that was created due to the world has changed a lot. Therefore, likely this style be very fashion today, but probably will change in the next year, because the time now always is uncertainty.
