The Principal. Hobart High School, 1 Davey Street, Hobart, Tasmania. 5th December, 2021 Requesting an appointment for a meeting to discuss the learning progress of John Dear Mr. Scott, I am writing this letter to you to request a meeting with you and my student, John White, for the reason of his learning progress. John is a new immigrant and he enrolled to my class last term. He is a hardworking student and makes a great effect on his studying. However, I find that he has some difficulties in following the instructions of teachers. Because of this issue, I have taught to his parents and finally figure out that his English level may not be sufficient to communicate with teachers and other classmates. Due to this reason, I am wondering if we can have a meeting to discuss his learning progress and the possibility of providing him some English tutorials so that we can help him to catch up quickly. If you need further information about this student, please feel free to contact me and I am looking forwards to hearing from you soon. Thank you very much. Kind regards, Encore Li
