The climograph compares the temperature and rainfall rates in a typical month in Kolkata city. The unit used for temperature is degree celsius and for rain it is millimeter. At a cursory glance, there is a correlation between rain and atmospheric temperature. Whenever the temperature rose, rain came. In the start of the year, the temperature was just around 20c, which steadily increased in the following months till May, before the figure was nearly plateaued at around 30c and which remained almost same value till the month of september. From October onwards, temperature dropped and landed to just 20c in December. The similar pattern can be seen even in the case of rain. In January, the rate was approximately 250mm and the figure increased gradually till May. Following this, the value was almost 300mm. Then the rate was remained stable for next five months, October. Subsequently, it started to decline and reached to initial figure.
