What are the disadvantages of using private car?

What are the disadvantages of using private car? ENE6R
In our lives, we travel from one place to another for a variety of reasons and while traveling, we greatly depend on our private cars. The number of car owners is increasing every day. However, owning a car has many disadvantages. As great as having your own vehicle is, having full control over your transportation also means you need to be in control of your transportation. You have to navigate, sit through traffic jams, deal with roadblocks, and all the annoying stuff that comes with it. Driving your own vehicle is also not that environmentally friendly. Indeed, more cars mean more pollution. To sum up, using a personal car has relatively many disadvantages that we have to look for superior solutions.
