unpaid work hours done by married women and married men b3jkP
This figure includes information about unpaid work hours done by married women and married men. Each bar is related to married man or women without children, with one child or two children, and with three or more children. As it is clear, families with more number of children spend more time working without payment since they probably should take care of their bigger number members in their family. However, the first category of families without child has done the least amount of unpaid works. Also, from all three categories, it is quite obvious that main part of the burden of the unpaid job for a family is on the shoulders of women. In categories with more children the unpaid work hours carried out by women increases as well, while these hours reduces for men. This may be happened due to the fact that in these sorts of families women become more focused on their children and nurturing, and they work in home as housewife. To sum up, this figure implies that women has bigger share of unpaid house works specially in families with more children. This situation may be resulted because of taking the housewife role by women in families with larger number of members, which also decreases the activity of men in home.
