Although for contemporary human beings they are no longer mystifying events, once they were highly charged and had ignited fierce debates across the globe. By the advent of science and its gradual advancement, those doubts and debates started to vanish among societies, however, their mesmerizing recollections have remained. Up to a certain point from my prospective, it has always been a breathtaking story. I can vividly remember from my own childhood how much intrigued I was by a rudimentary adjustable wrench and its mechanism which made a human being able fasten a bolt which was formerly unable to fiddle with the bolt by his own hand; and the sheer bliss of utilizing the indicated device all day long as a 6 years old kid, right now, I am utterly alert that I had fallen in love with Mechanics. Even more fascinated I got by my first review as an amateur portrait painter over my role model, Leonardo da Vinci, and the sheer number of his works, not only his paintings but also his inventions as a pioneer through the history of engineering and innovations. Schooling and education. To distinguish two resemblant concepts, one states that what schooling performs is basically the input of education, with what education playing out on a distinct other stage. Via education, one is anticipated to expose certain values and talents inside themselves that can make an overriding contribution in forthcoming academic decisions. Thankfully in my case, through the long period of being a school student, what was deeply constituted was education, which propelled me to make the appropriate decisions for future in my academic life. School flashback, a defining moment for each student was undoubtedly selecting a field of study to pursue on the horizon. With respect to bearing a genuine interest in the field and considering the fact that their major would pave the way of future career and achievements, it was no secret that the choice would lead into a pervasive influence on students’ lives, and I was no exception. However, my desire to learn fundamentals of Mechanics in Physics courses made a significant contribution in wise selecting my future major. Pursuant to what has been stated so far, I was substantially inclined to explore a new world of science for which I had a craving, and that world would be a mixture of Physics and engineering. Thanks to this desire for Physics and engineering, there was no other choice to fulfil this appetite barring the field of Mechanical Engineering. Consequently, the boy with a mediocre familiarity with Mechanics, but filled with hunger, entered the university to start his B. Sc. Thanks to goodness, within two months I understood that I had selected the major properly, the one for which I was created. I vividly recall the early days of the university, and especially the Industrial Drawing course, where I began to know that I was bearing a considerable talent to conceive and reflect the most complicated designs compared with any other peers. Due to this inherent gift, my desire for learning were noticeably intensified. Moreover, in the following semesters, Statics and Strength of Materials in which I became the top student of the class, turned out to be my favorite courses with respect to Dr. Tara Farizeh and Dr. Kambiz Osgouie of being really expert in the field, and for the sake of whom I managed to perform as teacher assistant in the next semesters in both mentioned courses. Besides, I was particularly a fond of course Dynamics because It used to come up with panacea for decoding every single locomotion surrounding you. Pursuant to the preceding fact, to learn what is playing out around yourself was quite fascinating. Moreover, it has been a period of 2 years that I have been working on a promising branch of applied Mechanics or more specifically, composite modeling and its structural optimization. As a researcher working on the indicated subject under supervision of Dr. Kambiz Ghaemi Osgouie I obtained valuable experiences. During the past 2 years, I found modelling of mechanical behaviors of material a tremendously fascinating topic to work on. Hence, devoting time in terms of working on advanced mechanical design was truly a pleasure. Furthermore, I got used to working with computer aided design, in addition to having learnt a sequence of Artificial Intelligence approaches and algorithms with a view to facilitate the optimization procedure of composites. Truly, I was mesmerized by the options Machine Learning, a branch of AI, represented to develop and speed up the analyzing of composite properties. Regarding this issue, I carry a significant tendency to study more about applied Mechanics or more specifically Advanced Mechanical Design and its principals. In accordance with my background, I am persistent to apply to a top-tier universities and continue my studies in well-run educational system. Hence, I found Italy among the most appropriate countries for mechanical engineering study. All of these criteria have eventually led me to decide to study in Italy and I forcefully discovered the University of Milan as a distinguished one among myriad of alternatives in mechanical engineering. Aside from a greater opportunity of finding an apt job, being taught at this university will ensure an unparalleled atmosphere and the prospect of learning from exceptional professors such as Dr. Jack Baker, who I surely know will kindly convey their knowledge to me. From the bottom of my heart, I reflect that the chance of being accepted at the University of Milan happens once in a lifetime.
