The reading and the lecturer are both about the sigarette smokers should pay high taxes. The lecturer cast doubt on the main points made in the reading by providing three reasons. Firstly, according to the reading taxes will discourage people for idulging unhealthy behaviors. However, the lecturer disputes this points. She says that this approach does not led to healthy behave. If the price of cigaret increase that would led people to pay the cheaper one which is much ricky and harmful to the health. Secnodly, the article contends that taxes for this kind is fair because they wil cost as they need medical care. Nevertheless, the lecturer refutes this arguments. She argues that the consequence of smoking made the government rise the taxs, is unfair for people as they think.
