Overall, both male and female rates rose in 1995 and 2005 However, the figures for male employments were significantly higher than the female employments in both years. Iceland has highest figure for male employments while the Switzerland were achieved highest rate for female employment in 2005. In 1995, the number of male employments has highest rate in Iceland, that was at seven in ten. as well as, it increased by just over 10% in 2005. There was a considerably increase in male employment from 1995 to 2005. However it remained the same in UK, New Zealand and USA in 2005, that were at just around 70%. By 2005, Switzerland has highest female employment rate, which is increase by just over 10% from 1995. Australia and New Zealand accounted lowest rate in 2005, that were at over 20%.
