With the advent of technology, Humans are enormously busy than ever, as a result, they merely have any leisure time. Many opine that during that period one must schedule events as it can enhance productivity, whilst others hold that it raises stress as it is a rigorous process. This essay agrees with the latter and will elaborate on both views with illustrations. Making a schedule can indeed provide a direction for holidays, which in turn, promotes one to engage in some recreational activities like extreme sports or learn a language. In other words, planning a holiday would be made easier, along with that one also join classes for the latter. For instance, a recent study by Harvard University reported that people who make timetables for their day tend to be more consistent in extracurricular activities than their own professional jobs. Thus, planning may be advantageous for them. However, after working for 45 hours a week, barely anybody has the energy left to think about the holidays. That is to say, relaxation holds paramount importance to humans. If one involves in scheduling their weekends then stress is increased during the process, which consequently makes it troublesome than relaxation. For instance, stress plays an indispensable role in psychological diseases like Alzheimer's and dementia. Thus, one must spare some hours for impromptu events. To conclude, despite the fact that planning a leisure time could increase the learning or entertainment levels, but stress-free time must be enjoyed as the way it is to reduce the tensions.
