Should teachers allow students to use cell phones and other digital devices in the classroom?

Should teachers allow students to use cell phones and other digital devices in the classroom? NWnEj
Nowadays, mobile phones are very popular and easily available all over the world. Most students around the world can use smartphones and they use these gadgets not only for reading but also for personal purposes. However, I think mobile phones should not be included in classrooms as it distracts students and also affects effective communication. One of the main reasons for not allowing cell phones while studying is to distract students and even other candidates in the class. As a result, they do not understand the topic and receive poor grades on the evaluation sheets. Thus, such electronic devices should be away from the classroom to distract them less than mobile phones. Another reason is the confusion in the lecture, the argument between the teacher and the students. While they may see different sites using mobile data or Wi-Fi to get information about a topic being discussed in class, they may not have the knowledge and important ideas that the teacher is discussing in class. Also, it can take a lot of time to visit unrealistic sites. For example, some many personal blogs and websites do not have a proper understanding of the topic. In conclusion, despite the several advantages of using mobile devices in the classroom, they should not be allowed to use mobile phones to achieve good results and build a brighter future. In addition, it maintains a good learning and teaching environment for students and teachers.
