The main ingredient of ethanol fuel is corn. The raw material will undergo 7 different processes starting with obtaining the corn, subjecting it for extraction before it is being transported.
Initially, the corn is stored prior to milling. Following this, the milled corn is incorporated with water and cooked for 4 hours. At this point, the cooked mixture is fermented for 48 hours. After the fermentation process, the mixture is then separated producing the solid by-product and the liquid which will be used for the final product. After the liquid has been separated from the solids, it is then subjected to purification process for 5 hours to extract the pure ethanol. Finally, when the pure ethanol is obtained, it is now being stored for transportation. Ethanol is then available in the market.
