UK is reputed for its excellent quality of education, interactive teaching methodology, top ranking universities, great student satisfaction and world class research. As compared to other countries education system UK education system is highly advanced and practical oriented. I chose Teesside university because it's very reputed university in UK. It is an excellent university in terms of its quality of education and interactive teaching methodology. I understood that student satisfaction is very high. I learned about this university while surfing on the net and then I visited their website that time I got more information about this university. I really got impressed with their faculty profile and course curriculum. 2. Tell us about your research into alternative universities and courses in the UK and why you considered them but chose Teesside University instead. I considered 3 universities when I decided to study in UK. They are Teesside university, University of Northampton and Greenwich university. I finalized Teesside university because Teesside only fulfil all my interests. I was very much satisfied in the fees structure and especially the scholarship. Living atmosphere in Middlesbrough impressed me more as compared to other places in UK. These all reasons I choose Teesside university for my higher education. 3. What was the last educational course you studied (in any country)? If there is a gap between your completion of that course and your proposed course of study in the UK, please explain why you have now chosen to return to study. I completed Master of Business administration from my home country in 2016 and I have 4 years of experience in Human resources field. Through my work, I had earned a real experience and developed extra skills in communication and dealing with people. All of this increased my passion for this area and drove me to look for an opportunity to study human resource management in more specialized academic way. 4. Please explain why you are interested in your chosen course and what research you have undertaken about the course. I decided to study MSc. International Management because I have experience in this field. In 2016, I completed my MBA and then I have 4 years of HR experience. From all these studies and experience I realized that management plays a vital role in present scenario. So, I decided to study MSc International Management. It will help me to get highly paid jobs in my home country. I visited the official website of Teesside university that time I really impressed with the course curriculum. MSc International management is a two-year programme. Its assessment is very relevant such as assignments, business reports, case studies, presentations and so on. This course helps to increase my skills like critical thinking, presentation skill, team work, team management, etc. So, from all these reasons I decided to study MSc International management in Teesside university. 5. Are there similar courses available in your home country? Why are these unsuitable? Yes, but pursuing a Masters degree in the United Kingdom is a dream I would love to actualize. I consider it as a necessity for me to advance in my career, as well as, contribute to the body of knowledge. Moreover, UK education system is much modernised. I believe that I can improve my soft skills because UK education system is more practical oriented. They focus more on assignments, business studies, case studies, presentations, etc. I strongly believed that this is what I am looking for. And also, there are many students from different part of the world so I can communicate with them. It will definitely improve my communication skill which is really important when I am working. 6. What are your post-study career plans? How do you expect this course to provide a return on your investment? After my studies in UK, I will come back to my home country. India is one of the fastest growing country, there are many multinational companies are starting businesses in India. After my studies, I can join in one of them with good salary and moreover I can utilise my knowledge for the growth of the organization. I believe that I can polish my management skills with this master’s programme which I can apply in my future endeavours. 7. Tell us about your research into your expected accommodation/living arrangements in the UK and how you will travel to the University whilst you are studying to ensure you have researched the local area. I would like to live in the university accommodation which is very near to the university and moreover university is located at walkable distance from the accommodation. The university provide good accommodation facilities such as Wi-Fi, water and electricity, laundry and so on 8. Tell us about your financial circumstances. Are you currently working? If your family is contributing towards the cost of your studies, please also explain how this is affordable to them and whether you will have to repay any money. I have 4 years of job experience in my home country. I have been saved money from my salary for 4 years because masters in UK were my long-term goal. And also, my siblings are working in UK as Nurse. They have good salary there. They will support me for my studies which I don’t want to repay it. 9. Tell us about your plans for supporting yourself financially throughout the whole duration of your studies. I have already paid first year fees from my savings. Second year fees and living expenses also there in my bank account. Any additional money required my sisters can help me those who working in UK 10. Do you have family in the UK already? If yes, please give details of your relationship e. g. Brother/Sister/Uncle/Aunt and where they live in the UK. I have 2 sisters, both are working as nurse in Northampton. My elder sister has been working in the UK for 12 years. She is married and they have 2 children. My younger sister also works in the same hospital. She also married and they have 1 child. 11. Do you plan to work whilst in the UK? Please ensure you are fully aware of the working conditions relevant to the Student Visa which can be found on the gov. uk website. Yes, I know students can work 20 hours in a week, so I plan to work if I get a part time job Because I can learn new things from that organization such as working culture, management, employee benefits, effective grievances handling, employee activities and so on. I can utilise these things when I return back to my country. But I give more importance in my studies.
