I am interested in applying for the program MSc in Machine Learning for visual data analytics, after diversified research; I learned how Machine learning for visual data analytics can be employed to solve various sector problems in the countries if properly employed. Discerning that Machine learning can be used to solve problems in the aircraft sector faced by my country I became extremely much interested in the course. During my undergraduate degree at the University of Lagos, I enjoy the modules offered in Mathematics ranging from Mathematical Methods, Fluid Mechanics, Complex Analysis, mechanics, and statistics as they incorporate the application of mathematics to real-world problems and machine learning. I enjoy the statistical techniques of collecting, organizing, interpreting, and presenting data using logical and analytical processes. I enjoyed the options offered by mathematics, both the modules and opportunities that are available, the way truth is been established from a series of axioms, and definitions, how to arrive at conclusion using various approaches excite me, which is the bedrock for Machine learning for visual data analytics
Having been captivated with the research activities and various projects offered by the department and links with various industries will give me the opportunity to explore and partake in diversified careers workshops. While I was undertaking my undergraduate studies, I take students' tutorials on mathematics and a number of other subjects which I love sharing my enthusiasm for. I also used analyzed various projects using SPSS. After my undergraduate studies, understanding about the vastness and importance of data to the society gave me interest to learn programming languages like (Python, MySQL), I have also used PowerBI and excel to visualize business data’s for instance I used PowerBI to visualize a fintech company named Credpal analyzing consumers habit of spending at different levels and region.
Furthermore, I worked as a freelance data analyst. Whereby I analyzed different projects ranging from determining different weight size of child birth and many more, of which I produced detailed report. I enjoy the process of gathering, analyzing, visualizing, and presenting data’s.
My goal is to be a big Data Analyst; building mission critical projects that can help solve my countries problem faced in the aerospace sector after completing my studies in this program. I aim to help Aerospace sector make informed, data-driven decisions based on trends in key metrics by using the most relevant application of information analytics and statistical techniques to increase aerospace industry value. For my long term academic plan, I hope to have received my doctorate in Data analytics specializing in aeronautics and collaborating with the research industries like National aeronautics and space authority to get solutions to how I can solve my nation problems better.
I am a very focused and hardworking person with the ability to motivate myself and other team members. I adapt to the new environment and always glad to learn new things which will make me cope well with the university study in the UK. I enjoy participating in other activities going on in school also. I participated in my hostel's hall week program which I was part of the planning committee, likewise in the Christian fellowship program in school. I am a well-rounded and confident person, and I look forward to facing the challenges which lie ahead.
