In the contemporary era, technology has become advanced. Consequently, it has changed the method of communication, people use to interact with society. Although some relationships are temporary, they are easily accessible. Every development has a positive and negative side, so has technology. This essay will discuss both points with some relevant examples. on the one hand, technology affected the nature of relationships in a positive way. Firstly, with the help of many online platforms, people can connect smoothly with their near and dear ones. For example, in past, families used to send telegrams for giving any information to their members and that took a large amount of time to receive a response. But now with the aid of Facebook, WhatsApp, or other social media, they are able to connect to their well-wishers over the globe, at any point of time. On the other hand, despite many merits of the advancement in technology, the predominant drawback of it is that nowadays people are less social as compared to an earlier time. In other words, most of the crowd, interact with their close ones by the means of social platforms only instead of having a face to face meetings. To illustrate, a survey shows that 80% of youngsters use almost 60% of their spare time on online interaction with their friends and relatives. In conclusion, the relationship between two people can be easily built and reachable by the use of technology and they are some negative aspect of it, which can be controlled by limited use of it
