Currently, the rich have a lot of luxuries, including raising animals such as tiger, lions, reptiles, . . . They take pictures with them and post them online to show off their wealth. So, many people think it is a weird and crazy hobby. I will give my opinion on both views to clarify whether the actions of the tycoons are correct. It’s true that people who have a lot of money choose to keep the diversity of rare animals. They often have a very high trading value in the market. For example, in the UAE, a young tiger can be sold for 3000 USD and only millionaires or billionaires can buy them. Therefore, when they take their expensive pets to the street, somebody will surprise and admire them. Possesing such valuable animals is not easy for an ordinary people. In the past, people established skills of keeping wild animals in zoos and national parks. But now the wealthy just need to spend money to hire someone to take care of them. So this is really a luxury pleasure. However, others consider it is a bad hobby. Because when owners take their pets out on the street, when those animals get angry, they will lose control and cause harm to others. It is a fatal defect and it is very difficult to tackle this problem. Angry animals will hardly notice the transient phenomenon. Everyone must be careful and have close observation. Instead they should have altered them with more friendly animals such as dogs and cats. It is a customary behavior. Besides, hunting and selling rare animals is also illegal. The wealthy should be expressed through fashion and other accessories. In my opinion, wild animals should be returned to the natural environment. The goverment needs to strictly control the hunting and trading of animals. Everyone must have the right perception and not neglect any legal regulations. There are other ways to show off your wealth. People should be consulted with others to adjust their behavior. To conclusion, I tend to agree with others who think that keeping wild animals is a strange hobby. There are already many animals listed in the red book and are in danger of extinction, so they should not be hunted and raised.
