Television channels and newspapers mostly use pictures to cover the news stories as photographs have become an integral part of news today. Some people believe that the pictorial presentation s of news more effective than textual presentations. I completely agree with this statement and in this essay, I will support my view with valid arguments and examples. There t no doubt that picture s attract the attention of the audience as they give the basic understanding of news story. Nowadays people tend to believe the news report s with more reliable photographs of that event rather than reading words on it. In this information explosion era, every minute we are getting to know recent news. Therefore people have interested in watching and seeing things than spend their time to read or listen to it. For instance, in this day and age most of television channels are using animated video s and real photographs of that incident while reporting it. Because its highlights the incident and communicate the idea in effective manner. Other than that, article with pictures are aesthetically good and increase the readability of the newspaper. Because Humans naturally attract to the colors and figures than the letters. moreover it is easy to figure out which story is worth for attention by giving quick look at the report. For example, newspaper s published 20years ago did not include any images and they were dull not attract. It is crystal clear that pictures play a pivotal role in news stories to make them more reliable and readable. In conclusion, I affirm my opinion that photographs in the media are most effective as pictures speaks more than words.
