How we understand other people has always been a much complicated issue. In the last years, there has been a great deal of research focus on this area to uncover brain mechanisms beyond human behaviour. They have found a very influential discovery of things called mirror neurons. It is a discovery that was made nearly twenty years ago by neuroscientists working in Parma, Italy. They have studied macaque monkeys and they found there were individual neurons in the specifics area in monkey brains. Also, they have found these neurons not only respond when the monkey picks up a peanut, but also monkey sees a person pick up a peanut. One of the most interesting things in this area is that how does affect these neurons to human social lives. Recently, an experiment, conducted by scientists have shown that deactivated part of this brain area causes the people to become much worse to understand other peoples.
