God has made men and women equally. But in Indian society, we find that they are not treated as equal. So the society does not give women’s the status of equality with women. In a family, we see the difference between a son and a daughter. When is son is born the parents dance with joy. But the birth of daughter is not celebrated. Many people are not willing to spend as much money on education of their daughter as they spend on their sons. In the past woman were treated only as slaves. Even now women is called the weaker sex. It is thought that a woman cannot do all those things which a man can do. If woman’s field is limited to household duties only. These days many women are coming Forward and working shoulder to shoulder with men. But their status is still not equal to that of men.
