A school of thought opines that, eating flesh is unhealthy diet as it can lead to severe diseases moreover, they find it beneficial for the planet. However, I believe that consuming animal flesh is having both pros and cons such as on one side it maintains the stability in the food web and on the contrary it was lead to food poisoning. To begin with, devouring meat is contributing in the smooth maintenance of the food web. As, all living organisms are directly or indirectly dependent on each other for their survival therefore, a food chain is being created in the ecosystem wherefore, as to maintain the balance in the living world. This can be illustrated by citing an instance of a food chain, plants are eaten by herbivorous such as cows and further, the cow is gobbled by carnivorous say lions. In case, the lions will not feed on cows for their survival the ratio of cows will gradually increase however, the number of lions will decline because of starvation. In addition, animal foods consists of adequate amount of nutrients which are essential for a human body. For instance, In a number of countries, where individuals are not consuming egg or meat based products have to take medicines which provide the essential nutrients. On the contrary, there are few incidents leading to food poisoning or other harmful diseases because of the intake of flesh. For instance, the increasing water pollution is a home to numerous waterborne diseases, in addition the marine life is also prone to health issues which are being consumed by individuals which causes stomach problems to the consumer. Furthermore, sometimes the animals eat unwanted stuff such as plastic bags which are in future gobbled by humans. In retrospection, I believe that it is essential to consume meat for better health moreover, it contributes in maintaining the ecological balance in the environment. However, it should be washed and cleaned thoroughly before consuming.
