I believe that voice messages are good option to texting one to better explain the things we are talking about. Sometimes text messages could be misundertood beacause it is not easy to deduce the real intention, or the real purpose for which they are written. On the other hand there are a lot of situations in which you are not able to listen the message and it could be useful associate them to a text messages with an anticipation of the argument that you have sent in voice message. But, I am convinced that in some situation, if the voice message will be not enought to explain the argument and we need more details about it, we can give someone a call rather than text back. In the end, I do prefer the short voice messages because when I receive long messages, I have often forgotten the information before I ended to listen it.
