How does the coronavirus spread? DqQMo
Coronavirus or Sars Cov – 2 comes from the bat having a variety of types with different infections. For instance, the Variant Being Monitored (VBM) such as Alpha, Beta, Gamma, etc. and the Variant of Concern (VOC) are Delta and the newest: Omicron.
Generally, the virus can spread from infected person’s mouth and nose in small liquid particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe. There is a range of particles from micro-droplets to much smaller aerosols.
The virus spreads mostly between people with a short distance between each other. A noninfected person can be exposed to the virus when the droplets or aerosols contain the virus touch eyes, mouth or nose. The virus can be more “powerful” when the space is small with no air from the outside. Since with that condition, the particles can stay in the air for a long time.
Then, the virus can go through the respiratory and after that, it latches its spiky surface proteins to receptors. Eventually, it kills some healthy cells.
