In 2009, there was a huge increase in the number of urban homes with internet from 15% in 2008 to 30% in 2009. However, the rural homes only saw a slight increase to 5%. Over the next two years urban homes gained 10% each year, reaching 50% overall in 2011. Meanwhile, the number of rural homes getting internet access is also increase 5% each year reaching 15% overall in 2011.
