Due to covid 19, online courses are becoming a common feature of university education. The majority of subjects are assigned to students at a very urgent time, causing students to struggle, reducing their learning outcomes, affecting their physical and mental health. Since study online this semester, I reckon most lecturers have handed out a heavy load of homework for students, which puts them under pressure. I recommend they should follow these ways. Firstly, the teacher should reduce the setting of homework. Besides, teachers also should extend the deadline for submitting homework to students. Furthermore, the lecturers should solve the homework directly in class instead of assigning homework. In my view, when do by myself, I found it more simple to do with my friends than do individually, so lecturers try giving out group work more frequently. In these ways, students would learn more effectively and improve outcomes.
