Overall the divorce rates in sweden has declined in the percentage after the year 2002 whereas, the percentage of divorce rates in sweden show a fluctuating rate. Initially the divorce rate in sweden was 43 percent in the year 2011 which rose to 49 percent in 2012. After, 2012 there was a substantial decline in the number of divorce cases. The percentage reduced from 49 to 47 percent in 2013 and showed a further decline to 45, 37 percent in 2014 and 2015. The divorce rates in sweden were 37 percent in the year 2001 which turned down to 32 percent and thereafter scaled to 39 percent in 2013. After the year 2013, the rates reached a stable level where the percentage was same for two consecutive year 2014 and 2015.
