Discussion of Half wave rectifier experiment

Discussion of Half wave rectifier experiment e8JLB
In this experiment we have designed single phase half wave controlled rectifier. We have observed different parameters of half wave controlled rectifier with R load, R-L load with and without freewheeling diode. We have also analysed the output with measured and calculated value. The calculated value wasn’t very different from measured value so we can say the error was very small and it is negligible. From this experiment we have understand the operation and characteristics of half wave control rectifier. Phase controlled rectifier used in UPS, Battery charges, Reactor controls, DC motor controls and etc. The knowledge we gathered from this experiment can be applied in these fields.
