Reading passage points, first, that the rewards given by companies to their employees are well justified because they improve the productivity of them. It also improves the behavior of employees at work. Second, the Reading points that book’s proves all this theory. In addition, it’s proved that people need external forces that motivates them, so they can achieve their results better. Finally, the text points that this rewarding system brings results, but only if the rewards structure is well planned. On the other hand, listening passage differ from the text because several reasons. First, rewards are not directly related with the productivity, in fact the lecturer said that people did not like it, and in some times, workers reduce their productivity. Second, people relates these rewards with a kind of punished work because they feel controlled by their employers, like if were manipulated by them. Third, the lecturer said that rewards are also complicate in a way that people sometimes don’t get the expected rewards, and that can make them feel a little bit disappointed. Finally, lecturer think that the relationship between employees and their bosses may be damaged. To sum up, this is how the listening passage causes doubts on the point made by the reading passage.
