describe the theory of motivation and show how the theory can be applied to work and sport pKxA2
Reinforcement theory one of the theories of motivation. It is based on the works of famous russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov, he wrote about behavioral conditioning and proved that behavior is a function of its outcomes. For example, if you will be working on a large scientific project and anybody asked you to stop working at night, you stayed late and made it much earlier than expected. When your scientific supervisor found out, he was in delight and thanked you genuinely. The consequences of your action were positive, and therefore you will have more chances to demonstrate similar behaviors in the future. It means that your initiative was strengthened, in contrast to the situation if your supervisor would have simply kept silent and not expressed the gratitude, that's why gratefulness is always important in human relationships.
