A close friend of mine recently gave me the best advice that has stuck with me ever since. This incident took place around a month ago when we were having an online get-together. They say, and I quote, "Sometimes life isn't fair, it can bite you in the ass or lift you high, so just live how you want to live. " I wasn't really in a great state of mind when I received that, so it changed a lot of perspective for me, of the world, of the people close to me. It was my epiphany and it opened my eyes to a lot of toxic realities I have been so naive to believe.
