The first picture illustrates Clock Tower Roundabout in Dubai in the former years. There are barely any cars due to inadequate technology compared to the ones in the present-day. Many people still depend on their feet to walk. Judging from the scenery, there are only a few tall buildings and a house with round barrier greeneries on the side of the road. The second picture shows Clock Tower Roundabout’s current condition. Lots of cars driving around the roundabout. Skyscrapers dramatically increased since there are plenty of malls, hotels, as well as offices nowadays. Trees are planted surrounding the clock tower. The atmosphere becomes more hustle and sophisticated. Overall, when looking at the photos slightly, Dubai’s before and after are both quite similar. We can still tell it is the same place, noticeably from the same route and Clock Tower position. The only difference is that the roundabout is now getting more crowded with vehicles and buildings.
