characteristic that a good English teacher must have.

characteristic that a good English teacher must have. BgEPp
As far as I know, having a lot of knowledge of what is being taught is the most characteristic that a good English teacher must have. When you have a lot of knowledge, you can easily explain the problems you are teaching or difficult questions from learners. You answer confidently and keep your students engaged. Try to imagine, if you don't have enough knowledge, you will stumble when teaching, teaching problems in an unclear way. This hinders students' acquisition of knowledge. Studying and practicing to improve your knowledge will help you. So having a lot of knowledge about what is being taught is the most characteristic that a good English teacher must have.
