Asiljon is a good candidate for DAAD scholarship

Asiljon is a good candidate for DAAD scholarship gAn9O
My name is Chingiz Babaev and I am the director of Grant Thornton Consulting. I came to know Asiljon very well as I have been his manager since August of 2019 when he joined our Management Consulting department at KPMG. I have seen how he has grown from a curious graduate with mainly theoretical knowledge in business and management to a strong professional and a leader over the course of two years. He was one of the strongest employees in our team so I asked him to join me as a senior consultant when I decided to continue my career as the director of Consulting practice at Grant Thornton. I support Asiljon in his decision to continue his education and believe that he has the potential to become one of the future leaders in our company. He has a strong academic background in business administration, which combined with his curiosity allowed him to quickly develop an understanding of a wide range of topics that he was not quite familiar with at the beginning of his career, such as solid waste management, agriculture, and privatization of strategic government companies. However, in order to grow further as a professional, in my opinion, Asiljon should focus on something specific and become an expert in it. Therefore, completing a graduate degree is an important milestone in his career. It is important to have a strong qualification in the professional services industry, as consulting, and a graduate degree from a German university will make him more qualified as a management consultant, providing him deeper knowledge in management and international experience. Asiljon has a quite impressive profile, but what really makes him unique is his personality. I admire his positive character and ‘can-do’ approach to work. He is a person that likes complex and challenging tasks and when faced with one he can demonstrate agility and persistence until he finishes it. Although he is not a professional athlete, he regularly practices sports and has run several half-marathons recently. It seems that he brings his dedication and discipline from sports to the workplace, and, I believe, to other areas of his life as well. He also has good leadership potential owing to his willingness to take responsibility, share his ideas with teammates, and help them to grow by providing constructive feedback. As a senior consultant, he has demonstrated a good performance leading a team of three analysts on several projects recently. His position requires one to have good communication skills as consultants often work closely with clients. His ability to speak several languages and diverse life experiences allowed him to get along with most of our clients and colleagues. Overall, I do believe that Asiljon’s academic and professional experience combined with his personality makes him a great candidate for the DAAD scholarship. I strongly recommend his candidacy and I am confident that he will greatly contribute to the university he will be studying at and Uzbekistan in the future. Asiljon is a valuable member of our team and I will be glad to work with him further when he returns after completing his graduate degree.
