American english and British english have many differences

American english and British english have many differences. Firstly, is vocabulary. They are read as many different words even though they all have the same meaning. For example, Americans calls it “apartments” while the British calls it “flats”. There are hundreds of different words that we can hardly distinguish. Secondly, how to use “just, already, yet”. In contrast to Americans english use them in the simple tense, the British english use them in the present perfect. In addition, the pronunciation of both is also different because of the difference in culture and country. While the British usually omit the 'r', Americans omit the 't'. Finally, British english makes listeners feel polite and formal in communication, while American english shows comfort and fun. In conclusion, to distinguish American english and British english is very difficult, especially the pronunciation.
