The graph showed the average price per kilometer of clothing the European Union spent from six different countries in 1993 and 2003. Clothing imported from Argentina and Brazil reported the highest and second highest price respectively in both years comparing to the four Asian countries, Japan, China, India and Bangladesh. The European Union spent around 28 pounds per kilometer of clothing from Argentina in 1993 which is slightly higher than the 26 pounds spent in 2003 for a kilometer of clothing from Argentina. Meanwhile, the clothing imported from Brazil maintained its cost at 23 pounds per kilometer in both year. On the other hand, the price of clothing from China, India and Bangladesh showed a sharp increase between the year 1993 and 2003. The European paid 10 pounds for a kilometer of clothing imported from China in 1993. The price almost doubled to 17 pounds in 2003. A similar trend was seen as the price of clothing from India jumped from 7 pounds per kilometer in 1993 to 12 pounds in 2003 and the price of clothing from Bangladesh increased from 3 pounds per kilometer in 1993 to 6 pounds in 2003. While, the price of clothing from Japan reported a slight drop from 15 pounds per kilometer in 1993 to 13 pounds per kilometer in 1993.
