Why nuclear plants are shutting down

Why nuclear plants are shutting down bxBPY
The Indian Point nuclear plant has closed this year. Most important factor in this event was protests of humans who live near this point and feel themselves in danger. So, do they really need to worry and do we have to close all nuclear plants? My answer is not that much (at least for accidents) and clearly no respectively. According to protesters Indian Point must shut down because it can be deathly as wee see lots of time in the past. Such as: Nuclear meltdowns, eruptions, Chernobyl, Three Mile Island and another accidents gave rise to casualties. Maybe the biggest problem is non existing of evacuation plan. One of the residents, from 20 million human lives within 50 miles of this facility, think in case of any huge problem they can’t be able to handle it. In addition, it’s not just about local people. Reactor has been keeping under the water in order to cool its reactor’s temperature. However, mechanism causes to death of thousands of fish and organisms through grill which part of plant. In the beginning of 2021, they gained what they want and eventually Indian Point has been closed in spite of majority of the electricity used in New York city were coming from Indian point before. Although all this harms and risks; first and foremost, research about ‘compare the number of deaths a type of energy has caused’ clearly demonstrates nuclear energy has tiny risk compared to oil and coal energies. And topic which most deserves gives pay attention is climate change. As we increase the oil and coal consume this damage getting higher for our world. Yes, maybe the nuclear plants not best way to avoid It but this is the only option we have in short term. Renewable energy sources not enough to compensate our energy necessaries. As a result, if we do not want to lose my lands against rising sea levels day by day and if we want to leave liveable world to our children we need to build immediately new renewable energy sources and at this time Nuclear energy is our most sensible option.
