It is clear that in both Korea and Sweden use the same methods(recycling, underground and incineration) to different extent for dealing with harmful materials. By contrast, the United Kingdom treats waste materials chemically instead of recycling.
Looking at the information in more detail, we can see that more than half of dangerous waste products are buried underground in both countries, the United Kingdom (82%) and Sweden (55%), while Republic of Korea recycles the majority of those products (69%).
Also, the UK deals with total 16% of same amount waste materials in other ways which are other two countries do not use, namely 8% of them are sent to chemical treatment and again such amount of them is dumped at sea. However, in this country only 2 percentages of hazardous materials are incinerated while Sweden and Korea incinerate them 20% to 9% relatively.
