The line chart compares the trend in growth of number of male and female passouts in canadian universities between 1992 and 2007. It is clearly shown that the females are always ahead in terms of successful graduations. Although both the male and female number of graduates increased drastically in this span, it is very interesting to point that the male passout figure has not reached at least the trough figure of female number in the entire 15 year period. At the begining, the number of females graduated are close to 1Lakh whereas in male statistics only 70, 000 were graduated. Over the years both the patterns oscillated slightly for a decade, but looked stable. In this span, both male and female number has followed a synchronized pattern. It was in the year 2001, the graduates passing out has started gaining pace. The number of female passouts has further overtook the males by the year 2006. By the end of 2007, the female passout stat reached around 0. 15 millions and males around 0. 1 million.
