TOPIC: Some students think that it is better to attend universities in or near their hometown. lLQx1
It is argued that applying for a university which is far from hometown is better than the near one. From my point of view, I totally agree with this statement for the following reasons. Firstly, choosing a university away from home is the first step into an independent life. Students will gradually not depend on their parents and may become more confident if they have a separate life from their parents when they attend university in a distant location. For instance, they may learn several fundamental and critical life skills such as cooking or about personal expenditure management and time administration. Secondly, living and studying far from home assists students in appreciating their families. A myriad of students pays almost time for phone and television or for studying, therefore, they may neglect their families so that if they have a life away from families, they realize that life without parents may be so burdensome and challenging, and how much precious family is. In conclusion, students should enter a university that is not close to their hometown.
