With the current development, parents hardly care about their children. It is true that nowadays parents spend more time at work than children. This phenomenon can be explained by several reasons, which will have consequences for children. In fact, two primary causes regarding busyness at work and technology addiction. Firstly, parents often spend a lot of time making money to support their family, but unintentionally don't care about their children. Because the prices of items are increasing, they have to spend a lot of time to be able to provide for their children a decent life. Another reason is that parents often spend their free time staring at technology devices. If parents like to use technology devices in their free time, they will not be able to take the time to talk or confide in their children. This will cause a communication barrier between family members, especially parents and children. Needless to say, there are glaring impacts that this phenomenon can have on children’s mental and emotional well-being. To begin with, with the parents' disinterest, children will be prone to depression for a long time, which leads to them not wanting to socialize with their friends. For example, if parents don't remember their children's birthdays, they will feel lonely and neglected. Moreover, this can also lead to crimes committed by children. Without parental education, they cannot distinguish the right and the wrong. For this reason, children turn to crimes unconsciously such as robbery, pickpocketing, etc. In conclusion, for the analysis above, the fact that parents spend less time with their children is due to the busyness of making money and screen addiction.
