These two map show the changes which have taken place at Happy Valley shopping center from 1982 to 2012.

The first change is that the lake before the entrance of the map was replaced by a furniture retail, and the parking lot was added to the area below the furniture retail. Inside the shopping center, the entertainment area and the elevator located middle of the shopping center remain unchanged, but the food store above this area was divided into two area: one for a sports and the other for an electronics store. Turing to the west, the toilets located southwest corner were left. The lobby area and the coffee shop to the north of the toilets were demolished. In the east, the furniture shop in the southeast corner of the layout was turned into a food store, but the sports store and the electronics store above this estate gave way to some themed restaurants. Overall, a comparison of the two map present a major change from an old shopping center to a more mordern one to meet current demands from visitors.
