Nowadays an idea of emigration is getting more and more popular in different countries and Bulgaria is no exception. Due to this table which depicts level of education of Bulgarians planning to leave Bulgaria we can analyse how the degree of education affects this process. The most noticeable trend noticeable over time is that the number of people with higher education among emigrants is decreasing while the situation with people who have only primary and lower education is directly opposite. Moreover, if in 2002 and 2006 these numbers are almost equal, in 2008 we can highlight a colossal gap between the indicators. It may point to a serious reason for this growth. Anyway, the general trend shows that a total number of people that want to leave the country is rising from 2002 to 2008.
