The graph clearly shows that universities received the highest applicants for engineering in 1990 and the lowest engineering seat requests during 2010. It seems that student's not choosing biology as a field gradually in 30 years, while on the other hand, we have seen periodically growth for social work and business branches.
Biology fell by half in 2000, in comparison with its 1990 candidates which were 3000 to 1500 in ten years duration. Similarly, the engineering field also dropped from 4000 new inquires in 1990 to only 2500 in the year 2000. Surprisingly there was dramatically dropped in engineering in 2010 which was around 600 applicants.
Aspiring graduates showed a positive response in the business and social work area. Looking at business candlesticks, it clearly rules the market from just 2000 new aspirants in 1990 to 4000 in 2010. Students diverted towards business doubled in the span of 30 years. Even social work also demonstrate slowly rise in their educated fans by getting almost doubled new requests for admission.
