The use of technological tools in an EFL classrooms provides a new perspective to teach a foreign language letting beside the traditional methods of instruction. The current changes in education imply teachers take a step forward updating their strategies and resources. Nonetheless, despite of the great importance given, it is essential to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of using technology in class. First, traditional tasks will become more attractive to students if they can use apps to improve their tasks and obtain feedback instantly which means a great advantage for both teachers and students. A common example is the use of programs designed to write, edit, and review essays and even projects. These programs are useful when students need to review and edit paragraphs independently. Teachers could take advantage of this when the size of class do not allow to provide individual feedback. However, the negative aspect could be the dependence that students would have on these types of programs. In several situations, students could not feel enough confident about their skills on writing without applying external sources to write diminishing the efficiency of using editors.
