The graph below shows the number of tourists who visited three European countries in the summer of 2015.

The given line graph provides data on how many travellers visiting three European nations namely Germany, Portugal and France in the summer of 2015. Overall, across a four-month period, the number of visitors to Germany and Portugal decrease steadily, whereas that to France displayed an upward trend. In terms of the number of tourists to Germany, it was far higher than that to other countries in the beginning of the period. Started at about 8 thousand tourists, the figure then fell steadily to 5 thousand in July, and then leveled off at 5 thousand travellers until August. From this month until the end of the period, a gradual fall of 2 thousand was recorded. The figure for Portugal also illustrated a similar trend. Beginning at 7 thousand, this number declined marginally to 4 thousand in July and went down moderately to about 1. 5 thousand people in September. On the contrary, an upward trend was identified in France. Specifically, a steady increase of 2 thousand people was seen between June and August. Finally, the figure then increased sharply to reach a high of 8 thousand visitors.
