The diagram shows how people collect water from wells and rivers to irrigation channels to fields for farming.
Diagram A shows how to collect water irrigation channels to fields; this work is involved with a simple system built with a basket made of bamboo or leather and four ropes. These ropes are tied to the sides of the basket, two ropes on a side and two others on the opposite side. Two men are standing next to the irrigation channel at approximately 1-2 meters depth. Each of them hold two ropes connected with the basket. Next, they throw the basket into the channel to get water. Finally, the basket is pulled up and moved to the fields.
Diagram B shows to get water from wells to irrigation channels. This method uses animals. A system of a pulley, rollers, bucket, and ropes placed at the top of the well has a depth of 50 meters. First, a bucket tides in the cow's body through the roller, and another bucket rope is connected to the Polly. When the cow comes near the well, the ropes fall inside the well, and the bucket gets poured on water. After that, the cow walks down on the slope, the bucket came up to the top of the well, and water is poured into the irrigation channel.
Overall, these two various methods show high intelligence from human and animal forces to tackle the irrigation problem's collecting water without motorized equipment.
