The two maps illustrate how Tilden airport and the immediate vicinity were developed over a 30-year period. Overall, it is clear that Tilden airport and the surrounding territory saw significant improvements, including the construction of transportation and the recreational facilities throughout the given period, which made Tilden airport international by 2015. The most notable change is that international terminal and car park, which are located in the west were expanded, while domestic terminal between them stayed the same. There was Johnson’s farm on the top right hand corner in 1985, which was demolished and converted into two separate buildings business park and housing estate. Whilst, an additional runway was constructed between international terminal and business park, which goes from the center to northwest. The neighboring areas are connected to the city of Tilden via one road, which is 8 kilometers. Across these road a light rail wasconstructed, connecting the bus and light rail station. Two separate buildings of the factory were converted into airport support service and hotel/conference center.
