The map describes the adjustment in the size of West Farm and the value of each hectare from 1900 to 1990. It can be seen clearly that the dimension of the farm seemed to fluctuate during the given time; meanwhile, the value showed an opposite trend. On one hand, the size of West Farm gave an impression of being vacillated during the given time. In the early years, the dimension hit its peaks at 5, 000 hectares and suddenly fell to 850 hectares in 1925. However, an increase by two times was recorded in 1940; subsequently, a slump of 1, 200 hectares occurred in 1970. Eventually, the number continued to rise to 35, 500 in 1990. On the other hand, the value of the land per hectares was seen to increase continuously during the given period. Precisely, from 1900 to 1940, the price for each hectare went up slightly at different point of time; with a dollar, 20 dollars and 25 dollars respectively. Moreover, the number was described to rocket up to 100 dollars in 1970 and peaked at 125 dollars in the last year. In conclusion, it can be observed that although the size of West Farm showed a volatile trend; whilst the prices of the land for each hectares ascended progressively during the given time.
